Gina Pellettiere is the Director of Bands at Farmingdale High School. Ms. Pellettiere directs the highly skilled Level VI Wind Ensemble which performs at the NYSSMA Large Organization festival annually. Under Ms. Pellettiere’s thirteen years of direction, the Farmingdale Wind Ensemble has earned ratings of 3 Golds and 10 Gold with Distinctions at highest level of NYSSMA.

On the field Ms. Pellettiere is the director of one of Long Island’s largest marching bands. The community’s pride, the Farmingdale Marching Band and Dalerettes are over 300 members strong. Their signature drill spells something significant for each year’s half time show.

Ms. Pellettiere earned her Bachelor or Music Degree in Music Education from Hofstra University and her Master of Music Degree in Wind Conducting from Hofstra University with Dr. Peter Loel Boonshaft. She is an active member of NYSSMA, NMEA and NAfME. In addition, Ms. Pellettiere was the chairperson of the Nassau All-County Division 5 Symphonic Band for many years, as well as guest conductor for both Nassau and Suffolk All-County Festivals. Ms. Pellettiere is a Board Member of Newsday Marching Band Festival Committee.
